Eminem - When I'm Gone (God I <3 the muzak violins in the background!)
Hola! How's it going people? Word of advice : Do not accept random bluetooth messages from strangers. I used to store everything including pictures of me, my friends, and my family on my mobile phone. Around December 2004 I accepted a bluetooth message from a stranger and have been paying for it ever since. No matter what angle you look at this through, it's my fault. So, I can't exactly go to my parents or the cops. Point is, I was stupid and I'm now paying for it. Hopefully nobody is as dumb as I am, but if you are, for future reference, please learn from my mistake. For the non-kuwaities who might say "So he's got your pictures on his mobile, big deal." It actually is a big deal over here. Tiny Kuwait, whole rep. thing to deal with. Plus this doesn't just effect me, it can effect my family, y'know?
Moving on, here is a link to Games and Manga Music Center which is in Kuwait. They sell anime soundtracks (bootleg natch') among other things. Big up to them for trying, though. Haven't done business with them yet. I'll let you guys be my guinea pigs ;P Lemme know how that turns out.
In true D&G fashion, I've almost reached the end of Radiata Stories and have lost interest. I've skipped college last Wednesday and this Saturday err... today which adds up to a total of 30+ hours invested into the game. I hate strategy rpgs but Disgaea Hour of Darkness and La Pucelle Tactics were cute as hell so hopefully Fire Emblem will be pretty cool too. Also, I got hit by a wave of deja vu when I read the little booklet that came with the game. Maybe I've played this before on the Sega Saturn or on some other console... maybe not?
Take care, yeah? Peace!

Happy Thanksgiving!
The All-American Rejects - Dirty Little Secret (They even featured this place in their music video)
Post something positive about Kuwait (or it's people) that you are thankful for :)
1- People complain about how hot it is but we've got airconditioning units almost everywhere. It's just the 30 second walk from your home to the car that you get hit by the heat. Obviously I'm talking about the summer.
2- Kuwait is slowly but surely changing for the better. Women were recently granted the right to vote. Two American universities (GUST, and AUK) have recently been opened in Kuwait. More anime fans are popping up in Kuwait than ever before :D
3- We have educational institutes from the US, UK, and Australia. For example, American School of Kuwait, British School of Kuwait, and Australian College of Kuwait. We also get magazines from all three places. For example, If you want to buy Vogue magazine, you get three editions to choose from US, UK, or Australian.
4- Kuwait is really tiny so it doesn't take long to get from one place to another. It only takes 2 hours to get from one border in Kuwait to the other. 5 hours max if you're an ultra-slow driver.
5- W00t, no taxes!
6- Family plays an important part in a Kuwaity person's life. Most kuwaity families are close-knit ones. They get together every friday at the elder's house as opposed to getting together once every few years or so, or only during special occasions.
7- 24 hour delivery! I didn't realize how much I miss Pizza Hut's 24 hour delivery service 'till I got hungry in the middle of the night in Cyprus. No restaurants deliver after 11:00pm.
8- Hospitality. Have some car trouble? Park by the side of the road and see how many people stop to help you regardless of your gender. My younger brother and his friend got into an accident the other day. The car flipped a few times to the extent that whole car was dented inwards and they had to get out of the shattered sunroof. Lots of people stopped to help them out of the car. One dude called an ambulence. One women even held my younger brother's head while she helped him drink water and she prayed over him (gamat tigra 3alay) all the while. Another example, go over to a friend's house or even an acquaintance's. See how you get treated. Yes, that's not the case with everyone but the majority are decent people.
9- We can blog about whatever we want without getting sent to jail.
10- Come rain or shine, both the men and women in the country are always stylishly dressed perfectly emulating their favorite hollywood star/starlet. The girl's makeup is always immaculate (if she's going for Haifa Wahby look she has to have that much makeup on 'cuz Haifa Wahby does use that much makeup). Regardless of wether we approve or not the guys with the "chicken-head hair" manage to copy Ryan Cabrera's look perfectly. Whatever style people are trying their hand at, they successfully pull it off... most of the time. Yes we have our fair share of fashion victims and a plethora of fashion don'ts but every country has their own. My hats off to the do's :)

c-c-cold!
Ashlee Simpson - Boyfriend (cute song!)
Hey people! How's it going? Sorry for being away for so long. I've missed you all alot! Thank you for all the wonderful words Unknown Entity and Evil Knievel! I truly appreciate that! I really meant to update sooner but there never was any time. I also tried to keep up with everyone's blogs but my brain couldn't handle it. For a whole month, I've eaten, slept, and breathed "class project". Add Ramadan to the mix (lack of sufficient nourishment and sleep) and you get me, a walking, talking, zombie with a sailor's mouth.
We had a really important project (magazine) to work on and because I was absent for so long, I got stuck with a group that I didn't choose. We had 3 boys in the group and 3 girls (myself included). Everyone had to choose 1 section to do. For example, I was doing technology, while this other girl was doing fashion, which was what I wanted to do. Since I was the editor, as well (meaning I was in charge) I had to be accomodating. Anyways, all 3 boys wanted to do sports, which drove me nuts. Long story short, it was horrible working with so many people. Never again!!!! I can't even begin to count how many times I lost my temper, and when I lose my temper I can be quite bitchy. I made this one girl cry and I'm not sure but I think I also made this guy in our group cry as well. It was all unintentional though, 'sides we got a good grade in the end. After that I promised myself I'd never ditch college unless I was dying (or everyone else was ditching).
We had a major exam scheduled for Wednesday 8:30am, right around when the storm was at it's strongest. Dark clouds, heavy rain, lotsa' lightning... God, it was amazing! I thought it was hilarious that my whole class was in the cafeteria at 8:00 sharp. Even on normal days we never showed up that early. My dad was on my case to go so I can't take all the credit for being there early. Besides it was kinda' nice, everyone huddled together on the not-so-comfy couches drinking coffee and eating croissants. Anywhooo, the test got cancelled... err rescheduled, same time next week.
Let's see, what else... every year, right around the same time (November-ish) I get my hair cut and I get bangs. Not sexy side-swept bangs, or cute parted in the middle bangs. I get the eye-skimming bangs, the ones that are always getting in your eyes. That's the one. I have no idea why... I just do it on a whim, every single year. I look ridiculous but at least I'm happy, no? Anyways, I got bangs on Wednesday... also went to this pseudo-wedding. Okay, I'll explain. There was a bride, there was a white dress, there was a groom, there was music, there was dancing, and there was a cake... but they've already been married. The wedding came after thier marriage? Too confusing but anyways I took my favorite cousin with me. We had lots of fun. It was like watching the discovery channel, only this was live :)
I got two great rpgs (Radiate Stories, and Fire Emblem) 'cept I haven't had time to try them out which sucks! I haven't even watched Final Fantasy VII Advent Children yet. Anyone know where to get that, please e-mail me and I will love you forever. Not really, but I'll be ever-grateful which is just as good if not better.
LOST (First Season): TVLAND : FRIDAY : 9:00pm (After what happened in the first season, I refuse to watch anymore of Lost, ever again! I won't say anymore 'cuz I'm afraid I'll spoil it for you people. Great show! Go watch!)
