One of the many gems uttered by President Ahmadinejad, "In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country". That should be right up there, with his denial of the Holocaust.
Final note - The translator spoke in a sing-song tone (which grated on my nerves) throughout the whole lecture.

What is so totally hilarious to me is that he doesn't intend to be funny, but what he says is totally hilarious.

He has a striking character its naive to think otherwise, or to make fun of him. I think his comment about homosexuals was clearly misunderstood.
If a president acknowledges a fact, a negative fact in his case, then he must do what is needed to tackle it.
