Yesterday was loads of fun! I went to Marina Waves mostly to cheer on the bloggers participating but man oh man, I didn't expect to have that much fun! The air was very jovial and there was an overall feeling of goodwill.

We kinda' arrived late, but I heard "9aboo7a" playing while we were waiting in line in the car, to enter the parking lot at marina crescent. Obviously, we didn't find a parking space, and the valet parking was all "We full!" So we tried Marina Mall's parking which was also full. After hassling the valet parkers for a bit, my friend parked her car in some random place and we crossed the street to get to Marina Waves.

People were picnic-ing on the grass. Kids, grownups, ALOT of people showed up. Some people even brought their adorable pets. I saw a chick in a gorgeous skirt with a lovely scarf (not to be confused with a 7ijab) wrapped around her head with her adorable little dog (looked kinda' like a shitzu... mebbe) who was also wearing an adorable green outfit, and this one guy brought his huuuuuge black German Shephard. Both dogs kinda' got into a scuffle which was quickly broken up.

My friend, her sisters, and I made our way to the sandy stretch to get a better view of the planks to see the planes and stuff but we still couldn't make out that much. I think I saw one team doing the saturday night disco dance. It looked like loads of fun when the whole team jumped in.

The lebanese chick's voice kinda' grated on my nerves but ish all g00t :P I met up with loooots of people from the many education establishments I've been enrolled in. To reiterate, it was loads of fun. Plus, it was something new :)
